Photo journal combining my loves of Fashion and New York City, my hometown since 1985. Photography, videos, and IG reels by Michele Kantra, NY fashion photo-journalist. Experience covering the NYFW shows since 2010.
Background: 30+ years experience working in NYC’s fashion industry. Runway photographer since 2010. Occasional product photographer for jewelry or accessory brands.
Former contributing fashion editor at Inside Fashion magazine, 2003-2010, their NY correspondent covering runway reports, fashion trends, textile and trade shows, and museum fashion exhibitions.
Former fashion illustrator turned photographer.
FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) grad.
